The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Open University (PLM Open University, PLM-OU) supports distance education and continuing education in the Philippines.
According to its blog:
- It is designed to provide higher education and improved qualifications to individuals who are unable to take advantage of traditional modes of education because of personal and professional responsibilities.
PLM-OU is part of the university known as Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), which opened as a University College in 1967. In 1968 it established a Graduate College, followed by the "Institute of Extra-Mural Studies" - this was renamed the PLM Open University in 2002.
PLM-OU is headquartered at the headquartered at the Gusaling Don Pepe Atienza at Intramuros, Manila, Philippines.
The OU offers associate's, bachelor's and master's degree programmes.
