As a pioneer in the field of distance education La Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (English: Ibero-American University Foundation) (FUNIBER), has set up a Virtual Campus, which is accessible via the Internet. FUNIBER uses as its framework the two worlds of university and training. Its purpose is to broadcast and share Spanish knowledge with Ibero-American people. In Brazil the Centro Universitário Leonardo da Vinci and the Universidade do Contestado are members of FUNIBER.
