The Curtin University of Technology (Curtin) offers a wide variety of certificates, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It operates seven campuses and six regional centres across Western Australia, with a main campus six kilometres south of Perth Australia. In 1999 it established a campus in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Cutin's offerings target 'mature' learners interested in applied subjects (with a strong emphasis on industry). In 2007, over 40,000 students were enrolled in courses; over 17,000 were 'offshore'.

Curtin's best-known division is the Curtin Business School (CBS).

Curtin is also a partner in the African Virtual University.

In December 1986 the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT) was formally renamed Curtin University of Technology, though the school traces it roots to 1900 with the founding of Perth Technical School.
