Bethel Online Academy
The Bethel Online Academy (BOA, Bethel Online) is a full-time online school located in the US state of Washington. It is part of the Bethel School District. It offers local students an alternative to classroom education.
BOA had 288 students enrolled in 2009-2010.
The Bethel Online curriculum is created by its instructors and augmented by courses offered by Plato and Advanced Academics, or by Aventa Learning (owned by K12 Inc). Students work primarily on the internet; each has an advisor with whom they may interact by phone, email, video chat, instant messaging and in person (and with whom they must interact at least once a week).
