Chesterfield County Public Schools Online
The Chesterfield County Public Schools Online (CCPSOnline) is a public, free online school for students within the boundaries of Chesterfield County Public Schools, in the US state of Virginia.
Most CCPSOnline students are non-traditional, e.g. living abroad, athletes etc; and take a mix of CCPSOnline and other traditional courses. Students must enrol with consent from their local schools. Those who reside outside the district may enrol on a private basis (and pay tuition).
Chesterfield County Public Schools first offered online courses in 2000. In 2010, 829 Chesterfield students were taking classes online. Courses are delivered via Blackboard learning system.
