The Arkansas Virtual High School (AVHS) is a pilot project funded by the Arkansas Department of Education. It is located in the US state of Arkansas. Education targets high-school-aged students. Some Arkansas Virtual High School courses require textbooks.
The purpose of the Arkansas Virtual High School is to provide an online alternative learning environment for the students of Arkansas' public schools who need assistance in completing coursework due to schedule conflicts and other factors that might impede a student's progress through grades 9-12.
