Karval Online Education
Karval Online Education (Karval Alternative Academy Online School, KOLE) is a small, full-time public online school located in the US state of Colorado. There is no cost to students. Families receive a computer and free internet access; teachers will personally train families in relevant computer use.
In 2010-2011 there were 168 full-time and 17 part-time students enrolled.
Karval's mission is to "provide an innovative educational environment that allows students to develop their personal and professional abilities and foster lifelong learning."
K-12 learning takes place completely online; students may however participate in extracurricular activities offered at the traditional Karval High School. Students from other school districts may take fee-based credit recovery courses.
