Connecticut Virtual Learning Center
The Connecticut Virtual Learning Center (CT Virtual Learning) is a private company which offers fully online, supplemental courses to high school and home schooled students located in the US state of Connecticut.
Course seats for traditional students are purchased by participating institutions, both public and private. Local schools or districts will decide on any physical attendance requirement for students enrolled in CT Virtual Learning courses.
Core courses and credit recovery are available. Courses are provided over the Blackboard learning system, and are asynchronous and self-paced; they are priced on a per-student, per-course basis, ranging from $375 to $800 (AP Test Prep Courses are all free of charge).
