Arizona Online Instruction
Arizona Online Instruction (AOI) is located in the US state of Arizona. As of 2010, AOI allows any of the state's 227 school districts and 500 charter schools to apply to offer online courses to any student statewide with its assistance. Students from outside of Arizona may also enroll and pay tuition.
AOI provides many part-and full-time options for K-12 students through school and district programs, as well as a small Arizona Department of Education pilot program offering courses directly to students (considered a state-led online learning initiative). Course enrollments in AOI have grown by 300% in the last five years to over 30,000.
