Achievement House Cyber Charter School
The Achievement House Cyber Charter School (AHCCS) is a public cyber school serving Pennsylvania students in grades 7-12. It is located in the state of Pennsylvania, US, and participates in the Virtual High School Global Consortium. The school is working to expans its offerings to include K-6.
AHCCS's physical offices provide a "hybrid" school environment for students who to physically attend those centers to complete their school work and/or to obtain tutoring help. Students take a full schedule of courses and meet live with their teachers in virtual classrooms or they have the option of watching the recordings of class sessions (Elluminate). Students complete and submit all of their work online and they communicate with their teachers through phone, instant message, and/or email.

More Details
Each student is assigned to a mentor who monitors his/her grades and progress in all classes and contacts the student, parents, and teachers if there are concerns. AHCCS provides students with a computer, textbooks, and all other needed materials and equipment.
Much of AHCCS work, especially in math, is self-paced.
