Latin American virtual campus (Campus Virtual latinoamericano, CAVILA) is the major initiative of the Association of Latin American Universities (AULA) to promote education, research and Latin American identity through the cultural extension.

In this virtual environment the universities belonging to AULA offer degree and post degree courses.

CAVILA is headquartered in the Universidad de Extremadura (UEX) in Spain.

The recipients are initially 500,000 students that comprise the campus of AULA, directly to potential and can benefit from a more immediate, although there is also an ambitious offer to education throughout life, which will benefit workers and who, by distance or by not having sufficient economic resources, cannot have access to classroom teaching. It aims also to corporate training, courses that can be organized at the express request of businesses and governments, for training, specific training or upgrading their employees.
