Southeast University (SEU) supports education through both campus and ICT-based online modes of teaching.

SEU seeks to flourish as a prestigious seat of learning in the South Asian region, providing higher education to students of Bangladesh at an affordable cost. It was founded in 2002.

Distance Learning at SEU may involve CDs, lecture sheets, and "audio-video systems". It describes its courses as operating under the "American" credit system.

Currently SEU is providing courses in MBA and BA(Hons.) & MA in Islamic Studies in the Distance Mode in the Dhaka campus. SEU plans to open resource centers in various important parts of the Bangladesh.
