Capella University is a private US university owned by Capella Education Company, a publicly traded company. Founded in 1993, it offers online degree programmes.
The University has more than 20,200 students - it employs 1,090 administrative staff at its Minneapolis, Minnesota, headquarters and more than 1,000 faculty members throughout the US.
