Head of Studies at the Knowledge & Innovation Directorate of the Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC). Before joining Nuffic Eric was a Sesqui postdoctoral fellow at the University of Sydney in Australia. I also was a research associate at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) in the Netherlands from 1998 - 2005.
My professional and research interests are in policies and politics in the fields of higher education and science & technology, especially issues related to internationalisation, globalisaton, international cooperation and regional integration.
