''The Global Open University of Zambia'' (TGOU) is based in Lusaka, [[Zambia]]. It is a private, self-governing, not-for-profit entity which seeks to provide educational opportunities for all people of [[Zambia]]. Established in 2005, it is still in the process of launching many of its proposed courses, though it intends to provide a wide range of part-time, full-time and distance-learning programmes at Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral levels. Among its target learners are adults who are not able to participate in face-to-face education opportunities.
