Presentation LUNO (Lorraine Université Ouverte) is a program of open and distance learning lead by the higher education institutes of Lorraine. This project was started with the help of the Reginal Council of Lorraine in September 2000. Officially, these institutes are regrouped by a charter.

All the institutes of this e-campus have developed training modules in their own fields of competency. The modules are accessible to job hunter and employee from Lorraine.

LUNO is fully in line with the priorities of the Lorrain projet for 2000-2006 that aims to "educate the people of Lorraine to the information society", LUNO is also a novative project for job hunters and employees that allows them to access easily to customized educational path.

With LUNO, Information and Communication Technologies offers to each inhabitant of Lorraine an incredible opportunity to improve its skills and competences or to gain a new vocational qualification without the constraints of classical education.

LUNO offers nowadays more than 150 modules in manay differents fields.
