The Forum neue Medien in der Lehre Austria , together with representatives of the Ministry of Science, the Association of Austrian Librarians, the OANA network and the Science Fund WFW, has developed a concept for OER certification at Austrian universities. A distinction is made between a two-stage certification for university teachers and a three-stage certification for universities. The implementation proposal provides for digital open badges, which are to be issued by a central body already in the next performance agreement period (2019-2021).
