The Boulder Universal (BU) is an online public school within the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD), serving grades 6-12. It is located in the US state of Colorado. It offers a 'hybrid' enrollment options that allow for classes to be taken at traditional local schools in conjunction with online classes.

BU classes are available to any BVSD student grades 6-12. In-district students have numerous options, including part or full-time enrollment for free.

In 2010-2011 it had 69 full-time and 10 part-time students.

Aventa course content is available through the Blackboard learning system.
