The Chesterfield County Public Schools Online (CCPSOnline) is a public, free online school for students who live in Chesterfield County Public Schools, in the US state of Virginia.
Most CCPSOnline students are non-traditional, e.g. are living abroad, are professional athletes etc.; and take a mix of CCPSOnline and other traditional courses. Students who enrol must have consent from their local schools. Those who reside outside the district may enrol on a private basis (i.e. pay tuition).
Chesterfield County Public Schools first offered online courses in 2000. In 2010, 829 Chesterfield students were taking classes online. Courses are delivered via Blackboard learning system.
