The Norwegian Networked University (Norwegian: Nettverksuniversitetet) (NVU) is an association for fostering professional collaboration in online and flexible learning in Norway. It is not a university.
It has members from all over Norway (universities and university colleges) - see below for the list.
It is a member of ALT (UK Association for Learning Technology) and EDEN (European Distance and E-learning Network).

At present these are six:
- Agder University
- Bergen University College
- Nord-Trøndelag University College
- Stord/Haugesund University College
- Sør-Trøndelag University College

Functions
NVU:
- is an organ for professional collaboration in the field of flexible learning
- has developed a manual concerning Quality assurance for online learning
- arranges several professional forums every year where people from member institutions can contribute
- has performed a survey of research activitiy and relevant conferences.
Quality assurance

NVU has developed an electronic manual of quality criteria for online learning. The manual is to be used for members of the Norwegian Network University and others who are participating in or developing online study programmes.
