Etelberto Lopes da Costa

Etelberto Lopes da Costa holds a Degree in Marine Mechanical Engineering and received his post-graduate diploma in Education and Training Sciences. He trains trainers and e-trainers with focus on innovation and suitability. He is also a guest university lecturer in training and personal development.

Etelberto Lopes da Costa is an external evaluator of education and training projects with corporate and social intervention components. He has profound experience in coordinating innovation and development projects. He works as a training consultant in distance learning projects using the Internet and electronic components, in which he was a pioneer in Portugal and Brazil for Portuguese-language content.

In Portugal, he helped to found the Academia Global in 2001 and was managing director of Academia Global Brasil. Since 2003, he has worked as a trainer and tutor in different distance learning courses in the I.Equal eTrainers method for distance trainers and e-trainers. He was also a coordinator of the e-Veste Project for the ITV sector in Portugal, which was distinguished as one of the six cases of good e-Learning practices by the EU DG Enterprise in 2007.
