The University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki (Panepistímio Makedonía) is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It has a research laboratory with significant experience and expertise in coordinating and participating in a large number of national and international research projects under FP5/IST, FP6/IST, and INTERREG.
The laboratory has also provided consulting services for the European Commission as well a number of national organizations e.g. Ministry of Interior, Prefecture of Thessaloniki, Region of Central Macedonia etc. and it has collaborated with a large number of major academic institutions, research organizations, private enterprises and public authorities in Europe.
