Georgia G.L.O.B.E. (Global Learning Online for Business and Education, GeorgiaGLOBE) was launched in 1999 as an online learning initiative run by University System of Georgia, US. Originated by the university system's Board of Regents, the initiative sought to improve access to distance learning resources via technology, in pursuit of innovative and cost-effective ways to educate Georgians and meet the state's strategic workforce needs.

Planned as a short-term project, Georgia G.L.O.B.E. offered a centralized access point for registration, course materials and telecourses across multiple institutions. Degree programmes, professional development and training certificates were all available.

Georgia G.L.O.B.E. ceased operations on January 1, 2003, with its responsibilities transferred elsewhere within the University System of Georgia. It was considered to have achieved its stated goals.

The Georgia G.L.O.B.E. web site was at http://www.georgiaglobe.org, now defunct (the organisation currently occupying this URL is unrelated to the original initiative).
