The Multimedia University (MMU) is a private university, with campuses in Cyberjaya and Melaka, Malaysia. It was established in 1994 as 'the University for the Knowledge Era'. In January 2008, the university had roughly 19,500 students enrolled in 110 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Approximately 19% of these were international students from 80 countries. The Cyberjaya campus runs its own Distance Education programme; Melaka has an indepedent internet-based degree programme.

MMU Cnergy is the commercial arm of MMU, responsible for commercializing short training courses to industry clients.
