The Open School Ontario is a branch of of the Virtual Learning Centre (Ontario) which is designed to meet students with particular needs such as a specific course required for entry to college or university or those requiring additional support with existing coursework. Open School is a year-round (September to June) online school of continuous intake offering accelerated and self-paced programs for these learners.

Open School offers Ontario high school credits "on demand." All course work is completed online so students can work on Open School Courses from anywhere at any time.

Ontario residents pay no tuition fees for Open School. Out of Province students will be required to pay a tuition fee as determined by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
