Nyugat-magyarországi Egyetem (University of West Hungary) is one of the most significant centres of higher education in the Transdanubia region. It consists of ten faculties which are spread across five cities in Hungary. The Faculty of Geoinformatics in Székesfehérvár, the partner institution in the VENUS project, is a leading institution in Hungary in continuing professional education on Land Surveying, Geoinformatics and Land Management. The Faculty is involved in various flexible education programmes for land management giving professional development services to engineers, technicians, and executives.
