The New Media in Education Laboratory (NewMinE Lab) is a research and development laboratory of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Switzerland.


"NewMinE Lab's approach is mainly applied: we like working in the field, on real problems, and applying innovative solutions with digital technologies. Careful scientific literature review and sound project evaluations are what allows to learn from experience and generate new knowledge."

The NewMinE Lab is active in ICT for development, instructional design, game-based learning, innovative interfaces and 3D worlds, and understanding ICT in the net generation.
