The Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (National Pedagogical University Francisco Morazán, UPNFM) supports e-learning with its own virtual campus.
Its mission is to "set up a community committed to the leading institution in the field of national education through labor devoted to the study and teacher training to the highest quality of human, scientific and technological transformation required in Honduras."
The institution’s main office is in the capital Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Other campuses are located in Calpules

Virtual Campus
Its Virtual Campus (or Campus Virtual in Spanish) has a visual entrance and is locked by a user login but is located here: http://evirtual.upnfm.edu.hn/sitea/campus/
The Virtual Campus is a project funded by the debt conversion program in Honduras to Spain: since its inception has promoted distance education with the creation of the University Center for Distance Education in different areas of Honduras, as a means to train large numbers of students that lack of resources or a lack of time must qualify for the distance education mode.
Virtual courses are having a boom. They are based on the use of Information Technologies and Communication Technologies (ICT) to develop new educational strategies for distance learning for educators, professors and teachers in Honduras.
The Moodle platform is linked from the main page (on the left) but the link is currently not working: http://evirtual_sl.upnfm.edu.hn/
