New Hampshire is a state in the New England region of north-eastern United States. It borders the Canadian province of Quebec to the north, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Massachusetts to the south and Vermont to the west.
The population of New Hampshire is 1.3 million as of 2010. The state capital is Concord and its largest city is Manchester. New Hampshire is known as the Granite State.
