The Ohio University (OHIO) supports distance and online through various departments and programs.
One of these is its Ohio University Without Boundaries (OUWB) which develops web-based and "immersive" postgraduate degree programs, certificate programs, and learning communities across a wide variety of disciplines -- and even established a Second Life campus.
Ohio University (OU, or OHIO) is a public university located in Athens, Ohio, US. Founded in 1804, it is the oldest university in Ohio and ninth oldest public university in the United States.
The university itself has ~20,000 students, of whom 17,000 are undergraduates.
