Jim Devine is the President of IADT: Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, a leading specialist institute of technology in Ireland, that also includes the National Film School. IADT offers degree and postgraduate level studies across a range of specialist areas of particular relevance to the creative arts and media sector and to the cultural industries.
Previously based in OSCAIL, the National Distance Education Centre at Dublin City University, he participated in strategic initiatives to develop ICT for teaching and learning and e-learning and continues to champion such developments within IADT and internationally, having developed and managed a number of projects in the e-learning/ODL domain.
