Dr Paul Lefrere is a Professor of eLearning at the University of Tampere, Finland (Hypermedia Lab; Vocational Learning and e-skills Centre).

Since he returned to the OU he has been engaged in a number of development and consultancy activities in many countries of the world including the Middle East and Pakistan.
