Caitriona Ryan is Head of Policy and Planning (Ceann um Polasaí & Pleanáil) at the Higher Education Authority in Ireland.
A native of Dublin, Caitríona has been a Senior Policy Analyst in the Policy and Planning Division of the HEA since 2003.
Immediately prior to joining the Higher Education Authority, Caitríona was a Manager in Deloitte & Touche Management Consultants and she has also worked in the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Department of Health and Children.
A graduate of University College Dublin (UCD), she holds an honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree and an honours Masters of Business Studies Degree (specialising in Management and Organisation Studies).
She attended the OECD experts meeting in France in February 2007, on the topic of How might the changing labour market transform higher education?.
