English for Specific Purposes: Therapeutic Professions (ESP-T) seeks to bridge the gap between the language needs of therapeutic professionals and the quality of courses offered for therapists at the higher education level.
According to [its web site], the overall aim of the project is to contribute to the realisation of a Higher Education Area by creating a Virtual Language Campus for therapeutic professionals so that, in accordance with Bologna process, the following goals are achieved:
- Promoting virtual mobility and e-learning
- Harmonizing of the European higher Education curricula with the view to develop integrated programmes and mutually recognised accreditation system(ECTS) which will also be promoted in non-higher education context
- Assuring quality and attractiveness of the designed materials by promoting a close European cooperation.
