The Akron Digital Academy (ADA) is a free online K-12 academy located in the US state of Ohio. Founded in 2003, the academy is an online public community school sponsored by the Akron Public School District. ADA diplomas are awarded by the school district.
There were 642 students enrolled in 2010-2011.
The school is designed for students who are not successful in the traditional school setting, "who work or have other types of responsibilities, or need a different learning environment, want to take courses not available at local school, [or] want to learn from home". Residents of the state of Ohio who are at least 5 years old and no older than 21 may enroll.
