The Abilene Christian University (ACU Online, ACU) supports fully online master degrees. It also uses e-learning and mobile learning extensively for traditional students, and Apple's iTunesU in particular.

Its mission is to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world. Master's degrees are offered in Education, Conflict Resolution & Reconciliation (MACRR), and Organizational & Human Resource Development (OHRD).

In 2008, ACU became the first US university to provide iPhone or iPod touch to all incoming first-year students (see article at http://www.macworld.com/article/132279/2008/02/acu.html), as part of its "Connected" mobile learning programme:

ACU freshmen will use the iPhone or iPod touch to get homework alerts, [and] answer in-class surveys and quizzes.

The Abilene Christian University's main office is in Abilene, Texas, US.

The ACU Online web site is at http://www.onlineacu.com/
