The Cobb Virtual Academy (CVA) is an online academy located in the US state of Georgia, providing supplemental online courses to Cobb County School District traditional students. It does not grant diplomas directly.
Cobb is part of the Cobb County School District (CCSD). Education is provided via the Blackboard system, augmented by Wimba. Tuition for Cobb County School District students ranges from $275 to $550 per course. Students may take only one-two online courses through Cobb, total.
Since its establishment in the summer of 2001, CVA has served more than 5,000 students.
Since 2005, Cobb Virtual Academy has offered online courses to traditional students as part of the regular school day.
