e-Stat or e-Statistics is the information portal website managed by National Statistics Center (NSTAC: http://www.nstac.go.jp/en/index.html), a branch of Ministry of Internal affairs and Communications, which organizes and publishes statistics executed by the ministries.
Starting in 2008, the website allows easy access and information flow to governmental statistics to anyone interested. It also provides e-mail and telephone based Q&A services to help inquirers to find seeking information.
