The Maryland Virtual School (MVS) is a service offered through the Maryland Virtual Learning Opportunities (MVLO) system. It is located in the US state of Maryland.

Maryland Virtual School (MVS) is the state virtual school for Maryland. However, MVS is not a true "school" and does not offer a complete high school diploma programme online. Rather, students may take a course through MVS only with the permission of the local Maryland public school system and the school principal.

Maryland Virtual School course enrollments declined from 927 in 2007-08 to 710 in 2008-09, and declined further to 633 in 2009-10.

MVS is funded largely through course fees paid by school districts that cover the cost of the content and instructor.
