The Maryland Virtual School (MVS) is a service offered through the Maryland Virtual Learning Opportunities (MVLO) system. It is located in the US state of Maryland.

Rather, students may take a course through MVS only with the permission of the local Maryland public school system and the school principal.
Maryland Virtual School course enrollments declined from 927 in 2007-08 to 710 in 2008-09, and declined further to 633 in 2009-10.
MVS is funded largely through course fees paid by school districts that cover the cost of the content and instructor.
