It spent its first 9 years as a summer technology camp company, offering tech classes to students at university and college locations around the country. In 2005, Giant Campus began to provide technology training to youth and adults at select military installations. In 2006 it began licensing technology courses to online programmes and high schools. In 2009, it launched two accredited online high schools of its  own: Giant Campus Academy and Giant Campus of Washington. As of 2011 several other schools as in operation.
