Kaplan Academy is a US private company which operates public online charter schools, in cooperation with local school districts or chartering organisations within a state. As part of Kaplan Virtual Education the Kaplan Academy is presumably being purchased by K12 Inc, as announced publicly in May 2011.
Kaplan Academies include:

- Kaplan Academy of Oregon
- Kaplan Academy of Washington
- Kaplan University High School
