Wisconsin is a state in the north central United States, considered as part of the midwest. It borders Lake Superior to the north, Michigan to the north-east, Lake Michigan to the east, Illinois to the south, Iowa to the south-west and Minnesota to the west.
The population of Wisconsin, as of 2010, is 5,686,986. The state capital is Madison, and its largest city is Milwaukee. Wisconsin is known as America's Dairyland.
