The Financial studies center (Centro estudios financieros, CEF) is one of the private training centers and business schools pioneers in Spain. With a great tradition and a well established reputation within the publishing and educational landscape. CEF was born in 1977.

The CEF is the main promoter and shareholder of the UDIMA. This company has institutional relations with other universities or private/public institutions.

The CEF main offices are in Madrid,Barcelona and Valencia, Spain. They have a specific strategic plan in the ICT area. The plan provides for the integration of Information Technologies and Communication in the three main areas of application as described below:

  • Management: mainly to disseminate information about the school itself (history, location, supply, etc.). Also to allow access to certain services.
  • Formation: to expand the training offer of the school.
  • Researching: to facilitate access to bibliographic and contact in real time with researchers from other countries.

Proper planning from a strategic perspective as a starting point requires the consideration of ICT as a basic tool for the institution, which must lead to a hierarchical level and an adequate fit in the organizational structure of the proper school, making them difficult units rely on second or third level, or without the gear due to the remaining units may reach significance due.
