The Health Sciences University of Mongolia (HSUM) supports distance learning in the field of medical education in Mongolia.
In 2005, its web site noted:
- [The Health Sciences University of Mongolia] consists of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Schools of Medicine, Biomedicine, Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Pharmacy and Nursing. There are 44 departments, research laboratories, central library, [a] health center for students and various other facilities.
The university's main office is (or was) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The institution was founded in 1942.
The Health Sciences University of Mongolia web site is at http://www.hsum.edu.mn/ - inactive as of May 2009, casting doubt as to the status of the entity.
The university was a participant in the PANdora project, which ran from 2005-2008.
