The NDUS is composed of two doctoral-granting institutions, two master's-granting institutions, two universities that offer baccalaureate degrees and five campuses that offer associate and trade/technical degrees. The North Dakota University System Online (NDUSO) supports online degree education through certificate, undergraduate and postgradute programmes. Degrees are available in a wide range of subjects.
Its mission is:
- To provide access to degree and certificate programs from the colleges and universities of the North Dakota University System for all residents of North Dakota and others through eLearning.
Participants are all from the state of North Dakota, US. They are:
- Bismarck State College
- Dickinson State University
- Dakota College at Bottineau
- Lake Region State College
- Mayville State University
- Minot State University
- North Dakota State College of Science
- North Dakota State University
- University of North Dakota
- Valley City State University
- Williston State College
- North Dakota University System
Over 40,000 enrollments were recorded for the last academic period (including duplicates).
