The Nursing Education Xchange (NEXus) supports enrollment in doctoral courses not available on a student's home campus.
NEXus is a partnership among select Western Institute of Nursing institutions in the US. It was launched in in 2004 to increase the capacity of programs through sharing and jointly creating academic resources.
Per the NEXus web site, a consortium of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), University of Colorado Denver, University of Northern Colorado, and University of Utah was established to carry through the goals of the NEXus project of increasing capacity via distance-accessible courses.
