The Scuola IaD (School for Distance Learning; Scuola per l'Istruzione a Distanza; IAD) is an independent distance-education institution which operates within the physical University of Rome Tor Vergata, or Università degli Studi Roma Tor Vergata. Its first course was offered in 1998.
In 2005 Scuola IaD was estimated to have 5,000 students. It is difficult to locate up-to-date information about Scuola IaD in English.
The University of Rome Tor Vergata main office is in Rome, Italy.
The Scuola IaD web site is at http://www.scuolaiad.it/
Via its parent university, Scuola IaD associates itself with:
- The European Association for Education of Adults (EAEA)
- The European Distance Learning and E-Learning Network (EDEN)
- The European Universities Continuing Education Network (EUCEN)
- The International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE)
More details
