The University of Guelph Open Online is based at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Open Online offers online courses for credit, personal interest, and professional development. Courses are offered on a semester system, so that students start and end each course with the same group of coursemates. However, communications take place via email and asynchronous discussion boards.
