The Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to approximately 20,000 students. The USM Distance Learning Programme delivers courses via the 'PPJJ E-Learning Portal', powered by Moodle.
USM is a public university whose main campus is in Penang, Malaysia. With roughly 30,000 students, it is one of the largest universities in the country. A Distance Education Programme has been offered through the USM School of Distance Education since 1971; it presently offers four undergraduate degrees.
